Would you like to use Word Tracks for your own recording?
For more information on licensing, visit www.musicservices.org. Follow the prompts to "License Request" then type in the name of the song you are requesting. The possible song titles will appear on the next screen. Select the one with "Word" as the publisher then, on the next screen, select "master use - tracks" as your license choice.
If your preferred title doesn't appear as an option or if you have further questions, you can email your request to word@musicservices.org. Please include the following information:
1. Title of the song(s)
2. Writer(s) of the song(s)
3. # of copies you are making
4. The configuration(s) e.g. CD, VHS, DVD, CD-ROM
5. Your physical mailing address
6. The name of the person or organization that is to appear on license.
7. The duration (length) of the each song.
8. Product number (UPC) of CD you are taking the track from (usually found on the spine of the jewel case) the numbers are structured as follows: 0 80689 64127 5. Please include all 12 digits.
Note: If using these songs and masters in connection with a visual image, please include a description of the visual images, and how the songs and recordings are being used e.g. background, onscreen vocal performance.
